This journey was in 2012 after winning the much coveted Global Excellence Customer Service Award of the year.
An employee of ABS-CBN Global- a broadcasting company in Manila, part of the prize was a trip to Puerto Princesa and some cash allowance.
Since this is more of a privilege tour, I can only share experiences and whereabouts- a camaraderie I will treasure and reminisce 'till I'm gray.

The Puerto Princesa Airport is the most modernized airport in Palawan. It caters domestic and international flights as well accessible to many transport services in neighboring islands.
Part of the city tours are popular destination spots in Puerto Princesa namely;
PLAZA CUARTEL - where the burning of almost 150 American soldiers by the Japanese on the 14th of December 1944 took place.
BAKER'S HILL - literally on top of a hill where a number of bakers work together to offer deliciously baked goodies for tourists and visitors.
MITRA'S RANCH - picturesque hilltop ranch offering sweeping city & sea views, plus zip-line rides & picnicking just a stone's throw away from Baker's Hill.
BINUATAN CREATION - derived from the Filipino word "pagawaan" (factory), Binuatan is a well-known souvenir and handicraft shop that manufactures hand-woven products using Palawan’s indigenous fibers and grass.
BADJAO SEAFRONT - located at Abueg Road, Puerto Princesa, Palawan Island, this is a restaurant built on stilts in a mangrove area offering a picturesque view of Puerto Princesa's seascape.

CROCODILE FARM - about 30 minutes outside of Puerto Princesa and an entrance fee of roughly a dollar, you can enjoy an eco tour that works to conserve endangered species of crocodiles.
No worries! this tour is manageable for the faint-hearted.
